Testing of digesters’ batches

We invite you to familiarize yourself with the offer of analytical services concerning the monitoring of fermentation charge.

The results of analyses of fermentation batches and their proper interpretation provide the necessary knowledge about the correctness of biochemical changes in the methanogenesis process.

The standard analysis shall include determinations:

  • pH,
  • redox potential or conductivity,
  • the concentration of ammoniacal nitrogen,
  • FOS indicator and TAC designation, FOS/TAC calculation,
  • dry matter and dry organic matter,
  • determination of profile and concentration of volatile fatty acids by gas chromatography GC-FID,
  • the acids to be determined are acetic, propionic, isoamyl, butyric, isovaleric, n-valerian, isocaproic, n-capriconic and heptanoic

Additionally, designation of selected or all macro- and micronutrients: P, K, Ca, Mg, Se, Co, Mo, Mn, Fe, Na, Cd, Cu, Cr, Ni, Pb, Zn, Hg, an indication of the degree of fermentation of the substrates.
The following parameters are determined in the substrate samples:

  • pH,
  • dry matter,
  • dry organic matter,
  • Kjeldahl total nitrogen,
  • ammoniacal nitrogen.

Biogas yield of the substrate

The biogas yield of the substrate is tested as a 4-step process. Time of analyses min. 6 weeks.
Determination of the quantity and quality of biogas produced from a given substrate in terms of daily increments and decreases.
